Education

A top priority of a growing community with its eye on the future is to provide excellent educational opportunities for its students. Part of the Palm Springs Unified School District, Cathedral City has eight public schools, five elementary, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school and one continuation high school. Several private schools are also located in the area. College of the Desert and California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), are located in nearby Palm Desert.
